“Encourage, lift and strengthen one another. For the positive energy spread to one will be felt by us all. For we are connected, one and all.” – Deborah Day
Let’s take a look back at last week’s smell the roses.
Read and leave comments on ten blog posts.
I have been reading blogs for years but I have to admit I don’t support them enough.
Every time I read a post I really want to leave a comment but I just don’t know what to say.
So I just read the post and leave.
I recently thought of ways to encourage and support
Blogging is hard work, we spend hours finding the right words, and pour our heart in our little online space.
Here are a few things we all can do to build up the community and support bloggers.
Comment on the posts
Down below is a list of posts I read this week.
I commented on each of them, either replying to a question, giving my opinion or encouraging the blogger to keep going.
Sometimes, just a simple hello means a lot.
Share posts and promote on your blog / social media accounts
I always make sure to like and retweet blog posts as much as I can.
Some bloggers have a hard time with self-promotion, which I can understand because I feel the same way, so it’s important to support each other and promote your favourite posts on platforms.
It’s also a great way to discover new bloggers.
Click on their affiliate links
I’m not going to lie. At first, I had a problem with bloggers monetizing their blog.
But I soon realised blogging is hard work, time-consuming and definitely not free for most.
Show support to fellow bloggers by clicking on their affiliate links so they can make a little extra money and maintain their blog.
