I love that 2017 ended on a Sunday and 2018 started on a Monday – this is very satisfying for my OCD tendencies.
So… New year, new month, new week, new goals!
Life can be so hectic, I sometimes need to remind myself to stop and smell the roses.
I work a full-time job and it’s been driving me nuts for months.
Constantly checking my work inbox, writing reports, and spend my days & nights mulling over work problem – or other.
I have become a bundle of nerves and am stressed out.
This needs to stop. Right now.
In 2018, I intend to stop and smell the roses.
I want to focus on what’s enjoyable and nurturing in my life and step away from all the frustrating things.
Slow down and appreciate the little things, and make more time for my family and close friends.
Close my eyes and breathe deeply.
My mental health and wellbeing have become my top priority after years of neglect and struggle – it has become so vital.
In order to better take care of myself and improve my mental health, I will accomplish a goal each week.
No pressure – but I plan on sharing my experience each Monday, and then challenge myself with a new goal for the week.
