“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” – Ferris Bueller, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
Life can be so hectic, I sometimes need to remind myself to stop and smell the roses.
I work a full-time job and it’s been driving me crazy for months.
Constantly checking my work inbox, writing reports, and spend days and nights mulling over work problems.
I have become a bundle of nerves and am stressed out.
This needs to stop!
In 2018, I intend to stop and smell the roses.
I want to focus on what’s enjoyable and nurturing in life and step away from all the frustrating things.
Slow down and appreciate the little things – make more time for my family and close friends.
Close my eyes and breathe deeply.
My mental health and wellbeing have become my top priority after years of neglect and struggle – so vital.
In order to better take care of myself and improve my mental health, I will accomplish one goal each week.
No pressure – but I plan on sharing my experiences each Monday, and then challenge myself with a new goal for the week.
